The Man in the Queue is a detective novel by the British writer Josephine Tey. It was the first in her series of six novels featuring the Scotland Yard detective Inspector Grant. A long queue lined up at the theater. The last days of the show of their favorite play brought together many art lovers. Suddenly, a man standing in the queue fell down. People were horrified to see a dagger stuck in his back. Inspector Grant undertakes to find out how the murder happened amid so many witnesses, without none of them seeing anything.
